After Apollo lived with his uncle, he eventually lived on his own with some help from his uncle and mother.
There's a long list of reasons why Apollo doesn't like his father, but mostly because his father has always voiced his disappointment in him since he was young and he thinks Apollo needs to focus on a "real" goal in life.

Apollo has a slim, tall figure with slightly tanned skin. Though his eyes seem purely grey, they are actually have a tint green. With red dreads down to his shoulders, he also has a parts of his hair short. And don't forget to mention his snake bites.
There’s nothing really special about grey eyes (which Apollo has, with a tint of green) since there are people who actually have them BUT a lot of people group them with either blue or green eyes. It’s the Tyndall Effect, which also applies to blue eyes.
